Farm and Factory Work
in the United Kingdom

We have a wide selection
of vacancies through our agent in Southport for both the experienced
and inexperienced farm worker. They can provide travel to and from
their sites.
Vegetable Harvester
- Cutting celery, lettuce or other vegetables either into boxes
or at the front of a harvesting machine in the field.
- To cut the particular product to a high standard.
- To work as part of a team with the goal of fulfilling daily
production requirements.
- Because the work is outside you should be prepared for all weather
eventualities. (Although we don't supply all-weather equipment
we can purchase it for you at wholesale rates.)
- Typically the hours of work are 10 hours per day, 5½ days per
week
Salaries paid per hour and overtime is times 1.5 per hour.
Vegetable Packer
- Working either on a harvester in the field or in a warehouse,
on a production line environment.
- Packing, grading and washing various types of vegetables to
a high standard, fulfilling daily production requirements.
- Working as part of a team to produce a high quality product.
- Typically the hours of work are 10 hours per day, 5½ days per
week.
Salaries paid per hour and overtime is times 1.5 per hour.
Cleaners
- Working in a factory environment.
- Post-production cleaning of buildings and equipment (usually
at night).
- Working as part of a team creating a high degree of hygiene
that meets food standard regulations.
Salaries paid per hour and overtime is times 1.5 per hour.
Requirements
No experience is necessary for these positions.
You must be between the ages of 18 and 27 years and be in possession
of a 2 year working holiday visa.
Accommodation is provided at the nominal rate of £6.00 per day.
