Job Purpose:
To initialize and close sales transactions with customers visiting the shop, offering them qualified advise on clothing & fashion trends, with a view to enable them to enjoy a happy shopping experience, achieve business goals and project company's professional image. |

C. |
Principal Accountabilities:
- Attend to customers visiting the shop, initiate sales process, offer them qualified advise on the available products/ range of fashion wear, display various styles of dresses paying attention to the customers' tastes / preferences and close the sale with a view to offer them an enjoyable shopping experience and achieve sales targets.
- Merchandise goods prominently on the shop shelves & display units, replenishing stocks as often as required, decorate window displays and mannequins, change them periodically and focus on selling slow moving items/ items from the previous collections, in order to enhance the visual appeal of the shop, create the right ambience for convenient shopping, thereby boosting sales.
- Meet & greet customers courteously, attend to their requirements for product information/ assistance with alterations, build rapport with long-time customers and co-ordinate with the tailor & driver for delivery of altered dresses on time in order to provide personalized service to customers and solicit their continued patronage.
- Maintain an up-to-date database on customers visiting the shop & prospective customers, to enable the management to forecast stock requirements in each season, to communicate to the customers the information on special offers/ sales promotion events and achieve business goals of the company.
- Update product knowledge through reading, following latest fashion trends around the world to be able to provide confident and relevant advice to customers and gather market intelligence to learn about competition / stay ahead of it.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Intermediate / "A" Levels with tertiary qualifications in sales and marketing
- High level knowledge of fabrics & fashion trends around the world
- High level customer service orientation
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English essential
- Knowledge of Arabic, French or other languages advantageous
- Well groomed & pleasant with a confident personality
- 4 to 5 years direct selling experience in the fashion industry
